Who is this course for?

This is the most popular advanced first aid qualification. The Level 3 First Responder qualification is the course of  choice for Close Protection Officers, Medics in Hostile Environments and Security Officers responsible for protecting ciritcl infrastructure. Th to ensure they are meeting the requirements of the Health and Safety (first aid) Regulations

The Level 3 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (RQF) is ideal for those employers that need to meet the minimum requirement of first aid regulations; typically those working in shops, offices and other low risk environments.

This qualification is available to those over 16 years. Candidates should be at least a level 2 numeracy and literacy or equivalent

Course Content

• Ø  Understand the role and responsibilities of a first aider
• Ø  Be able to assess an incident
• Ø  Be able to provide first aid to an unresponsive casualty
• Ø  Be able to provide first aid to a casualty who is choking
• Ø  Be able to provide first aid to a casualty with external bleeding
• Ø  Know how to provide first aid to a casualty who is in shock
• Ø  Know how to provide first aid to a casualty with minor injuries
